A graduate of the Drummers Collective School of Music the collective NYC in New York City with emphasis of study in third world rhythms and studio drumming, Danny holds over 25 years of playing experience including 10 years as a professional instructor in the west Michigan area.Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico Danny started out in concert band and jazz band in high school and began playing professionally at the age of 16. Shortly after graduating from Drummers Collective in '89 he made the move to Nashville, Tennessee where he played professionally from '91-'93. After commuting to and from Grand Rapids to play Rock Vespers ( a multimedia Christmas production) with Holland's own Grooters & Beal, Danny felt the need to move to Holland and has been teaching in the area ever since. Located in 32nd St. Sound Studios' recording room A provides the optimum environment in which to learn Danny's well rounded and thorough teaching curriculum. It is multi-faceted with the added use of vhs and DVD instructional materials as well as a digital recording studio that enables the student the experience of recording their own playing on to c.d. Danny's love for teaching and desire to see others grow and mature in their own musical expression is what has motivated him in his pursuit of excellence in the field of drum set instruction. Of his list of playing credits Danny has collected over the years he sights his playing for George Bush Sr. and performing with Phil Keaggy in concert at the very top. Musical Styles
